Kashif R. Rana is currently the Chief Systems Officer for the national flag carrier, Pakistan International Airlines, where he is driving the digital transformation and implementing the Cloud strategy. Kashif, with his team, recently led the successful go-live of PSS and GDS for the Airline in record four months amidst significant challenges.
Prior to joining PIA, Kashif was the Vice President Technology & Innovation for Etihad Aviation Group - the parent of Etihad Airways and five other airlines – where he was managing the transformation of the Group’s digital landscape and customer experience. He led the implementation of the employee enablement tools, AI, Big Data, SAP and digital tools with Watson technology. 
Kashif has previously held the position of CIO at The Coca-Cola Company where he led the 2020 strategy for global expansion of the digital landscape, enabling the company to double its capacity by 2020. Prior to this key role, Kashif also led General Electric as CIO and implemented various ERP and Digitization projects to enable growth and global expansion. He has also held IT leadership roles at Stanford University and Oracle Corp. 
Kashif is a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant from the UK, SCPM from Stanford University and has received his MBA from NYIT in the USA.
